I recently learned a trick in Photoshop that has enabled me to make my graphics appear to be comics. I dig the look and have some plans for a photo album that will look like a large comic book.

I am done with the online social thing. After joining my first one over 3 years ago the charm has run it's course and I'm done. It isn't like I had a bunch of kooks run me off, or anything like that, (it was only one.. just one.) But you know what? One is all it should take for anybody because like it or not, there are a BUNCH of KOOKS on the loose in the real world, and any one of them could show up on your front porch some night, (like happened to an author friend of mine, a few years back.) My friend wrote romantic novels and he wrote them really good and with style so much so this Kook thought that his books were messages to her to find him because he wanted to make a life with her. Even though he wrote under an assumed name.. she found him and showed up on his door step at zero dark thirty one night, The very door step that him his wife and son were all fast asleep on the other side there of. She didn't understand why he didn't invite her in or why he had a wife and so much did she get Kookier, the cops were called.. she was hauled off and Joe had to move.

So that is it and that is all for me folks. I learn from my friend's mistakes... I'm staying on my own playgrounds and writing for nobody in particular forever more. It's allot easier this way. I'll still do my art for others to enjoy and use on their desktops but gone forever more is my presence on a forum in any form other than a shout box or two.

I may, (from time to time,) come back to this subject... Maybe, maybe not.

I know you are sneaking around, David. Everybody who comes to any of my web pages has their location and ISP recorded into a file that I look at daily. I know, (for instance) that you have looked my pages over, 24 times in this last month. What are you looking for, some mention of you and your silly internet games.. Hiding behind made up persona's? Attacking me on forums pretending to be offended over my use of the word, "Clown?"

Well, you are in luck! Because this post is all about you.

I don't get you at all... You clown. The last time I interacted with you, (or so
I thought) was when we were both members of Spymac, back in 2004. You got some hair up your ass and got offended with nearly everybody in the community.. Started your stupid bullshit of threatening people, (the threads are there for the reading. Good old Spymac doesn't delete the membership accounts.. remember?) *LINK HERE* (Even with Broadband, it is a long loader but with a little patients it is there for the looking.)So anyhow.. like I was saying. You left the site in a huff and that was it! You were forgotten.

Forgotten that is until the first of 2007 when you showed up at a online community that I was a member of. This time, though, you came back under an assumed name. "Farandolae." At first you fooled me, I just assumed you were a new member and when you first started posting in the various threads, your writing style got my interest but still I didn't suspect anything amiss. You were expressing your shock at a spymac member's comment about a, "porch-monkey".. I wanted to put you at ease and try to explain to you that the person making that remark was a well known moron and a clown.

Suddenly, you launch a tirade against me accusing me of being no more than a racist for suggesting poor edscoble a clown. The very same person you were so shocked and outraged over. Suddenly, I was the beast of the play. Well this 2nd clue really got me thinking. Some things you were saying in various posts were sounding familiar and
I googled them, which led me back to you.

When I googled your new handle I found out that Farandolae are not real; "Quote" mitochondria (and the fictive entities living within them, the farandolae) "End Quote" It's from a story.. A kids book, *A Wind in the Door* I remembered you telling me once that you home schooled your kids. Billy Bingo! Lookie here! Another piece of the puzzle dropped into place yet I still kept quiet. I didn't give your secret up, well... I did to one person but only after you had insulted her as well but other than her, I didn't tell anybody else, (until today.)

I just sat back and waited for you to hang yourself. You really got into the pretending part of the deal and exposed parts of you that you couldn't keep hidden because it is your act. You play the same part, over and over again... You just change the players names along the way. So it was pretty easy to find out the truth, David, and when you just kept posting those, "outraged" posts about that awful website that you had never seen before.. Spymac and all those awful people.. I couldn't help myself. I called a Tool a Tool.

I called your hand and laid my proof out on the table for all to see. Suddenly everybody became aware of the fact that you were a phony-baloney. The curtain was pulled aside to expose the Great and Terrible Oz.. Ohh, the drama..

It was enough to flip you out though, didn't it? You reported it to the thread moderator, (who unlucky for you, just happened to be me.) The email came to my email address. In this email you didn't deny that everything I said was true, you made it true by not saying it wasn't so and by lying, saying my post was a personal attack on you and your wife and suggesting that I had been guilty of it in the past, (I have the email with that big fat lie, don't you forget it.) You went on to demand the post removed and so it was removed. I can't figure out by whom, but I have a pretty good idea. He is also a first rate chicken shit such as yourself.

The bad news now is that I control this ball park.

I have never harassed you or your family in the past, present or future. It is a bald faced lie and you know it. All the links I found were posted publicly on the internet. They weren't behind a password protected website that I cracked to get in. All I did was to expose you as a liar.

Get over it and yourself, quit stalking me, leave me alone and move on with your life.

Well.. Amazing things sometimes follows bad times, I guess. I'm sitting here today, zoning.. Just sitting and thinking about how it really didn't feel like Christmas this year. When suddenly, there is a knock on the door and someone asking for Tresa. I fling open the door and here is this guy saying that they had a load of wood for us and where did I want them to put it?

I'm looking at him like he is nutz..And he points to one of my cars and says, "where did that one come from?" I go, "excuse me? Do I know you?".. and I must have been looking like I was ready to get my gun or something because he says, "I'm Robyn's husband!" Roybn works with my wife.

"ohh.. okay, sorry about that. I don't get out much.." says me. I am too suspicious sometimes.

So any way they have a truck load of firewood, (a gift) and out jumps Jim's son, (I'm sorry, I have memory problems when it comes to names and I have already forgotten his) with a splitting maul and he proceeds to split the rounds up into quarters for me. I couldn't hardly believe the kindness. It was some really hard work.

Angels on the Key Peninsula. I've seen them. They exist. Suddenly, it feels a whole lot more about Christmas.

Boy! That Roybn, turned out to be a, "peach." My wife was falsely accused of theft, by her boss on September 24th 2007 and fired. She had worked there for nearly 5 years and was, (she thought) a trusted employee. It turns out that you can sometimes be more loyal than they deserve. It's a hard lesson learned, so late in one's life. Roybn was one of about 3 people she worked with that Tresa considered a, "friend."

"Don't worry, Tresa.." she was told, "I'll stand up for you." Roybn said.

Well... I'm here to tell you that it has been nearly 3 months and she has not been arsed to call, one single time. So afraid to lose her small grip on her lot in life, she was, (and is) willing to throw an innocent victim to the lions just to avoid bringing heat on herself.

I just can't understand it.. I really can't. I have some morals. I know that if a fellow employee was being lied about, I wouldn't sit still or silent if I knew the truth of the matter.

I can only hope her Christmas is as pleasant as ours, this year.

I've been working my fingers to the bone! The very bone, trying to get the CafePress store, up and running. I got tired of trying to make some money on ebay and decided a change of tactics was needed. If you get a chance, stop by and take a look. One of the really great things about CafePress is they take International orders, which is damn cool considering I know so many folks outside the USofA.

I'm hoping it is going to work out.

I got re-listed on Peeps the other day. I really kind of dreaded the fact that I was going for a second pass because of the quality of some of the other entrants... And, it wasn't like it was getting any better. The only constant was that guy's ass that everybody thinks is a big set of boobs, that isn't the case. So ashamed of the fact that I had put myself through for a second time... I never told any of my friends and passed from the list after 16 hours.

I once owned and operated a blog award program that worked on the premise of a random act of kindness. It was a pretty neat thing but it just be to be too much for me and I had to retire it after a couple of years, (medical reasons.) Occasionally now, I turn out a graphic or something, surprises for online friends.. Just out of the blue. A new effort of spreading good will around in a world that surely needs some.

This is the opening page of a website I am building for Vonnia,

Well, here I am, day number eight and still feeling like dog-poo. Maybe a little better than warmed over, (I hope) but still not feeling up to snuff.

If this is west nile virus I can tell you I will never go outside into nature again with out a ton of bug reppelent smeared THICK on my body. I'm not going to care if I reppel everything human or bug..I don't care if I am a walking bug-bomb! I don't care, this being sick is no picnic. It's more like malaria or some damn thing.. A little over a week ago I began to not feel good. Each day that went by I felt a little less than good until today.

Today, I feel like dog crap warmed over.. Not a pretty thing.

People in my county, Pierce, are dropping like flies.. 2 confirmed cases of West Nile Virus about 7 miles from where I live. They say that it is like a bad, case of flu and in about 2 weeks, it will go away,(1 percent of people will die from it.)

T asked me today if I wanted to go to the ER? "Hell no! If I'm going to kick I would rather be it at home.." or some damn thing.. I have my reasons trust me.

Hopefully the worst is here and tomorrow I will be on the mend.. otherwise, I will be in further touch.. Posting here, fishing for sympathy.

Every once in awhile, I get a bug up my butt and start thinking about a food I really liked as a kid.. Then pretty quick I'm asking T to whip some up at which time I discover how wrong those memories can be.

Last year, I got it into my head that I used to like sauerkraut on top of my hotdogs. "YEEEEEEEACH!" That was a false memory. I can't believe I ever liked that crap.... Next in line was liverwurst. I used to eat it by the truckload. Liverwurst sandwiches using miracle whip salad dressing instead of mayonnaise. If you would like to use an effective way to torture someone.. apply the liverwurst and miracle whip sammish. They will be telling you what ever you want in no time flat.

Spinach! I used to sit in front of the TV and gobble my spinach along with Popeye.. Now just the smell of it in the can makes my stomach roll a bit.

My parents were children when the Great Depression was on and so in order to survive they had to eat all kinds of things that I never acquired a lasting taste of but, for some unknown reason.. now that I am over 50 years old I get to thinking about the rewind. The quest to touch a memory. Liverwurst ain't it.

Funny thing is.. I NEVER could stand cabbage and now? I can't get enough.

Go figure.

I just finished a marathon 2 day session of Playstation gaming with my Grandson Christopher. Although I had my callouses built up on my thumbs already they still hurt a mite bit. When we weren't playing together.. He was playing by his lonesome. Gad! What a trooper.. The kid dreams Playstation. Sometimes he will tell me about how he figured out a tricky part of a game by dreaming the solution while he slept.

On another note I asked him last night what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said....... "I don't know... I guess I want to work in a zoo or a pet store.. Probably a pet store so I can play with the kittys.." I told him nobody was going to pay him to play with the animals but, it was over his 10 year old head. Way over.

If you can ever make money by being a Playstion Hustler, this kid has it made.

Well here is an updated pic of me. I've lost 50 pounds so far and now weigh 290lbs.. I have come down 2 shirt sizes and 5 waist sizes. I have been doing situps now for a little over 4 months and am currently doing 200 a day with a current number of, 18,380 situps done. I keep my calorie intake of a daily, 1800 to 2000... And drink tons of water. Since I hit my goal weight my NEW goal is 260 and a 40 inch waist.

Yesterday I tied my own shoes for the first time in 7 years.. And today I figured out how to make an animation using, InDesign. The learning curve is back.
(UpDate) I screwed up..... The animation was done using, Image Ready, not InDesign.

Vacation 05'.. The Dive..

The dump we stayed at while on vacation 05'. Over priced. 1930's I love Lucy nightmare. No phone, no back door, no dead-bolt on the front door, (I had to wedge a chair under the door knob at night for security.) Had a Mexican Grocery store in front, (of which we had a view of the back.) Cable TV so bad I have seen better reception from rabbit-ears.

To it's advantage it had a nice, clean kitchen.. Other than this, not recomended and we won't stay here again.

(I'm not even going to name it, I don't want to waste a plug on it.
2 nights stay: $170.00.. RIPOFF.)

Vacation 05' Long Beach...

This boardwalk extends for almost a mile and meanders through the salt grass across the dunes. It is a pretty neat thing. Has benches and drinking water fountains every couple hundred yards. I bet it's a great place for some storm watching.

A few years ago a whale had washed up on the shore, dead. They buried it in the sand for a couple, three years to let nature strip it to the bones.. These they dug up and put them together for for all to see. A very nice bronze sculpture graces the spot.

The North Head lighthouse, built in 1856.. Over looks the Mouth of the Columbia river and the Graveyard of the Pacific.

A graphic I made from a night shot of our Cruiser. I set my camera for a night shot and set the flash for red eye.

Then in PS I messed with the curves on a couple of layers, blended them together, applied a couple of filters, some eraser and here you go.

Looks good on the desktop so feel free to use it for your non-commercial use.

Man, I was so lucky yesterday. I was working on my car, for a couple of hours, moving all around this tarp I had rolled up and placed on the roof of this very car back at the begining of the last winter.

Then, I got tired of dodging that darn tarp so I grabbed it and moved it a bit when I was suddenly engulfed in a cloud of small yellow jacket hornets. They had eaten part of the tarp away and had built a paper nest inside the roll. And when I moved it.. Out they came to protect and serve!

I am a tad crippled and don't move fast but I'm here to tell you I turned and sprinted for the front door, (I bet my cane didn't touch the ground once) and some how I wasn't stung...

Tramatized me a little bit, though. I felt like there was things crawling on me all night long.

This shot is of, China man's hat. Good snorkling but shallow and if there was any chop in the water you would get binged up pretty good on the coral.

I saw this cool fish hanging out on the edge of some coral,when I swam over the rim I about crapped my shorts when it went straight down until everything just turned blue, no wonder the fish was looking over the edge...

Freaked me out! This was he first time I had ever swam in the Pacific Ocean and the first time I had snorkled. Swimming off the edge was like my best worst nightmare without falling to my death..

The rip current was so hard I had to hang on the the coral with one hand and snap the pic with the other.

or in our spreak: Hawaiian Reef Trigger fish..

This is a Parrotfish. These guys would chew on the coral.
You could hear it under water the, "crunch, crunch," sound of their chewing.
If they wanted to they might take your finger right off..

The fish on the top is called, Achilies Tang. The group below him.. I don't know what they are called.

Ric comming up for some air. I was wearing a tee shirt to guard against sunburn.
Turns out I should have protected the backs of my legs from the knee to heel.

You may have noticed there was no color in the coral. This is because it is dead.
All of the coral in Hanauma Bay is dead, because of all the tourists peeing in
the water and stepping on the coral.

This picture shows you the crowd at noon.

I was in very much pain. What you can't see in this shot is the 2nd degree burns I had from my knees down. I had blisters the size of silver dollars.. and was looking forwards to a 4 hour flight home.

I couldn't walk off the plane, went to the hospital. Because we had put layers of Aloe on my legs to try and stop the pain the hospital had to scrub them clean. I bit a hole in the hospital pillow, (they had to throw it away.) The pain was huge! 3 weeks off of work and it was 2 weeks before I could get around, standing up.

This is something I feel pretty strong about. I stumbled across the website and couldn't believe what I had read. "One in Five children on the internet get solicited for sex.."

I personally have a 13 year old grand daughter who is just starting exploring the internet and this kind of crap just worries me. I have had plenty of experience with online weirdo's for quite sometime now. It makes me uncomfortable to think my grand daughter could very well become, 1 in 5.

My front yard today. It was raining, the light was great. Came inside, turned on some dreamy jazz via KPLU 88.5...
Took them into Photoshop and worked them over a bit. The Rhodies I did very little and only to the detail. The colors are nature. I just bring out the story in them.

...Yeah, well I had this dream lastnight, (or maybe it was the chili..) and I got up this morning and saw the Pope deal was taking up EVERY channel, (except those damn want to sell you something)... I sat down in front of the Mac, sipping my coffee and banged this piece out in 20 minutes. It makes a nice background and feel free to use it for your personal, non-commercial, use.

We Went to Tacoma, yesterday then hurried up, so we could come back home, to the Peninsula, where we belong. I'm just not comfortable around the city folk. Don't feel like I fit in and I'm always happy top see the sticks. Yesterday, I was happy to take their pics and today I am equally happy to turn them into graphics for your viewing pleasure.

The posts, (pilings) you see sticking out of the water are what the oyster farmers tie the oyster pots to. This one you see in the picture is a company called, Minter Farms..*LINK HERE* If you live here in the States and you like Oysters the chances are pretty good they came from here. Minter has been in business for over 50 years.

Look at that damn bird! I didn't even know I had a picture of one till I down loaded it to the Mac... An added treat.
